Responsibilities:

  • Set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required to perform tests, investigations, research, and/or process control.
  • Test and analyze products such as concrete, aggregate and cement for plastic and hardened requirements.
  • Document results of tests and analyses.
  • Prepare chemical solutions for use in processing materials, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.
  • Conduct maintenance for the Laboratory Facility.
  • Plan for efficient use of materials, equipment.
  • Perform statistical analyses and the reporting of cement and concrete performance to identify raw material quality.
  • Complete, maintain, and process pertinent paperwork and records.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in fast paced work environment.
