Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY
The College of Business seeks an incumbent who plans, organizes and controls physical and budgetary resources for the Zayed University’s (ZU) Finance Trading Laboratory as the main point-contact. The laboratory will host a selection of high-end financial software including Bloomberg, WRDS, Stock track and CompStat, in order to support research, training, experiential learning and practical skills in finance and capital markets, for students and external clients. The Coordinator will ensure that the laboratory hardware and software is fully operational for all classes, demonstrations, workshops, training courses, and exhibitions. The Coordinator will provide hands-on technical support for all laboratory activities.
THE REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a bachelor’s degree in Finance from an Accredited Institution with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of CFA preferred.
Demonstration of excellent client communication skills is essential.
Ability to communicate in English and Arabic is essential; knowledge of national culture and traditions is highly desired.

Responsibilities:
Trains Faculty, Staff and Students on the use of the Bloomberg, Stock Track and WRDS finance tools.
Maintains the Finance Lab equipment and software with the required technical support.
supports with scheduling/coordinating student and faculty access to computer equipment and facilities.
Assists students with setting up experiments and other learning exercises, and with the use of equipment and materials.
Enables and assists lab users to participate in the development of new information technology applications in finance.
Supports in preparation of documentation, procedural manuals and user instructions.
Establishes and maintains a knowledge level equivalent to teaching support and troubleshoot requirements for courses
