Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Senior Employment Lawyer with a wealth of experience in all aspects of public sector employment law. In this role, you’ll be a key advisor to our internal HR team, providing guidance on general employment and TUPE-related queries from various client departments. You’ll also support our Adult Social Care colleagues with disputes around direct payment care packages and employment issues.
As a Senior Employment Lawyer, you will sit within our Litigation team which comprises of a Principal Lawyer, a Criminal Litigation Senior Lawyer, a Civil Litigation Senior Lawyer, a Senior Employment Lawyer, two Assistant Lawyers, and two legal officers. This role is diverse and varied, allowing the candidate to work efficiently and proactively, providing advice and support to internal client departments across the Council.
