Senior & Lead Android Developer

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Android developers to work for one of the largest banks here in Toronto. You’ll be working extensively with Java, Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, XML, etc. This is a 6-month contract with possible extension for a Senior or Lead hybrid role. Although this is a hybrid position, there are only 5 days per month that required to be in office.
Located at the heart of downtown Toronto, this organization is a brand name financial company. For passionate Android developers, it is a great chance to push yourself to new heights as a Senior/Lead. Not only will you be able to fully utilize your technical skills and experiences, but you can also have the chance to work across large-scale financial and trading projects that will help support its users across North America.
Contract Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)

Contract Hours: Hybrid (every Wednesday in office and 3rd Friday of the month) Required Skills & Experience

• 5 Years of Android development experience, ideally in a large scale application
• Experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Experience with legacy applications using Java and XML
• Strong communication within an agile based team
• Experience with migration/modernization projects
• Strong ability on both UI development and Business logic (API’s) layers

Desired Skills & Experience

• Cross Functional Team Experience
• Legacy Experience (5-7 years)
• Banking or Financial Industry experience
• Large Scale App Experience
