Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Control Management Officer supporting the Commercial Real Estate (CRE) business as Issues Management Lead. This role will be accountable for the administration and optimization, of the CRE issue management program, including effective portfolio management, timely issue escalation, policy interpretation and advisory, and insightful management reporting.

In this role you will:
- Provide risk management and business subject matter expertise on lending, banking & investments issues, and lead the Issues Management program across CRE
- Objectively review and challenge proposals for early issue closures, issue cancellations and extensions, to ensure they comply with enterprise policy and CRE risk management objectives
- Provide guidance and input on current updates to Issues Management Policy, Procedures, and best practices
- Function as the key point of contact for senior leaders and key partners in CRE businesses, Internal Testing Teams, Independent Risk Management, Wells Fargo Audit, and other constituents ensuring that all inquiries are responded to appropriately and timely
- Partner with the Operational Risk Event program to ensure issues stemming out of operational risk events are properly recorded and monitored.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date issue portfolio for inclusion in key management reporting
- Proactively monitor and manage data hygiene reports to ensure portfolio remains compliant with policy expectations
- Leverage available resources, systems, and tools to produce comprehensive and insightful executive reporting
