  • BS/BA degree or higher in construction, design, and/ or engineering or background in Electrical, Mechanical or Control Systems in Mission Critical environment
  • Familiarity of data center construction or data center operations, applicable laws and regulations, industry benchmarking, emerging issues, internal guidelines and policies, services, and business processes
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to identify risks and propose mitigation plans
  • Knowledge and understanding of mission critical infrastructure systems including Buildings and Advance BMS or EMS systems
  • SAP application exposure; preferably within Wells Fargo’s Corporate Properties Group

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Construction Manager who will assist physical infrastructure construction and remediation activities in existing core and regional data centers. This individual should have experience in data center/critical facility design and construction projects in a live data center environment.
You will be responsible for end-to-end construction through development of the project budgets and schedules, management of construction documentation, coordination of construction activities, engagement of stakeholders, managing bidding, performing contract reviews, change order resolution, construction administration, and complete closeout requirements.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide construction project leadership on a portfolio of highly complex projects and provide direction to consultants and vendors to assure compliance with construction project specifications, budgets, and schedules
  • Interact and negotiate with management on a regular basis to create and implement complex communication plans that deliver construction project goals, plans and execution, and progress reports
  • Provide oversight to all construction project managers in identification of project requirements and development of property and construction related project plan
  • Collaborate and consult with management, peers and stakeholders
  • Interact with Regional Presidents and company executives in charge of property

Job Locations and Salary:

  • NC- Charlotte: MIN $84,000 MAX $149,400
  • May be eligible for annual discretionary bonus
