ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Data Engineer, you will be building an emergency notification delivery solution for the educational space, capable of sending billions of messages through various communication channels to millions of recipients. The individual should have a deep passion for the design of high-load architectures and experience in running data processing on a scale.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Drive engineering from concept to finished product.
• Design, and build a usable, robust, and reliable data processing pipeline.
• Provide support for the software architecture, design, and implementation of successful message delivery service.
• Optimize data processing by balancing performance, cost, and storage tradeoffs through the use of various cloud technologies.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, infrastructure setup, and production operation.
