ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

For this position we are searching for a Senior electrical engineer who can take the position as Lead Electrical Engineer in one or several of our projects.
You will be allocated to one of our projects, however final decision regarding project and work task will be subject to candidate competence profile and work experience.

Your tasks in the project will be:

• Follow up and guide contractors and suppliers.
• Establish power distribution and transmission systems.
• Prepare technical requirements and tender documentation.
• Follow up fabrication, testing and installation.
• Follow up electrical packages.
• Follow up modifications of control and protection systems.
• Lead discipline resources.
• Ensure close dialogue with operation.
• English and Norwegian Language

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master/Bachelor of Science within electrical power engineering (Elkraftteknikk).
• Minimum 7-10 years’ relevant experience.
• Project experience from electrical lead position.
• Project experience from electrical package follow up and area design
• Multi-discipline understanding.
• Language: English and Norwegian
• Good knowledge of rules/regulations, standards and preferably Client’s technical requirements
• Ability to work in a team.
• High ethical standards and adherence to client’s ethical requirements
• Ability to handle high workload.
• Travels must be foreseen.
