For CA locations only: $138,500.00 - $287,600.00USD Annual
For AZ and NC locations only: $120,400 - $250,000 Annual

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 7+ years’ experience in business intelligence and analytics platforms for data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau and/or Power BI)
  • 7+ years’ experience in Microsoft Excel and data management tools to effectively perform data manipulation and analytics, data visualization and reports creation, automation, and other advanced techniques.
  • 7+ years’ experience in SQL and relational database management skills.
  • 7+ years’ experience in Data cleaning, preparation, and data management skills.
  • 7+ years’ experience in presentation and visualization skills. Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant to join our Digital Technology & Innovation team. This role is pivotal in driving data-driven decision making and unlocking the full potential of our data assets. This position is responsible for defining, measuring, and reporting on key metrics, building robust data models, and translating complex data into actionable insights, supporting our DTI executive leadership, engineering managers, agile teams, and business services operations.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex and unique initiatives to provide technological solutions with broad impact for cross functional businesses and technology teams
  • Act as an advisory to senior leadership, with strategic business solutions to companywide technology initiatives
  • Evaluate highly complex business problems and provide subject matter knowledge proficiency for technology initiatives
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Make decisions regularly for highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of domain and technology applications, and which influence companywide technology solutions
  • Collaborate and consult with business and technology teams to provide comprehensive technological solutions for highly complex business problems
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to individuals at all levels and provide advice to senior leadership on highly complex and strategic issues
  • Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams

Responsibilities:

  • Data strategy: Develop and execute a metrics data and reporting strategy and roadmap that is aligned with business objectives, data quality, accessibility, and security protocols to support leadership, agile and business services operations teams.
  • Data Acquisition and Management: Source, integrate, and cleanse data from various systems, and develop strategies for integrating data from various resources.
  • Data Modeling: Create and maintain data blueprint and data models to support reporting and analysis for the data infrastructure.
  • Data Governance Framework: Develop and implement data governance standards, process, and best practices to ensure data hygiene, adherence to policies and data security and privacy protocols.
  • Metric Development: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the business and technology to measure agile and product delivery performance. Gather data necessary to calculate KPIs and develop formulas and systems to track KPIs over time.
  • Advanced Analytics: Conduct in-depth data analysis, including statistical and predictive analytics. Gathering data necessary to calculate KPIs.
  • Reporting, Dashboards, and Data Visualization: Design and develop compelling data visualizations, interactive dashboards, and reports to monitor KPIs, analyze trends and identify insights. Automate report generation for regular distribution to enable self-service capabilities.
  • Storytelling: Communicate insights effectively to executive leadership, technical and non-technical audiences to drive actions. Frame and present KPIs, analysis and trends in a clear and understandable format.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with executive leaders and business and technology partners/stakeholders. Identify their priorities, needs and challenges to identify data and reporting solutions.
  • Serve as senior DTI liaison to enterprise partners for data, analytics, and tool. Influence and negotiate data and tools strategy, solutions and roadmap with enterprise partners. Act as escalation point.
  • Data Culture: Promote a data-driven culture and improve metrics data and reporting literacy through education/training, materials, and programs within our team and broader organization.
  • Enhance organizational performance by leading and implementing continuous improvements and data-driven initiatives.
