a day in the life

  • Serve as a strategic business partner and consultant to senior leaders and P&C Business Partners in assessing learning needs.
  • Enable and manage the delivery of training, and development for America’s and Global Guest Innovations (AGGI) org through the most effective method/channel.
  • Conduct complex learning and performance needs analyses for individuals and teams to critical skill/knowledge gaps to address to ensure learning solutions meet business goals through data-driven decisions and effective learning solutions
  • Partner with and influence senior leaders and business partners to co-create long-term learning strategies for their teams and departments
  • Instruct, develop, and coach peers to build, assess, and implement learning solutions
  • Assess learning needs through performance analysis, utilizing diagnostic tools to determine the basis of performance gaps
  • Create and implement strategies for long-term behavioral change and performance improvement as a result of learning experiences
  • Ensure delivery techniques and modalities to maximize skill acquisition and knowledge retention
  • Apply learning design methodology (including 70:20:10), adult learning principles, and Learn, Practice, Recall model.
  • Coach and consult at the individual and team level
  • Create and implement change management strategies
  • Design and facilitate a wide range of conversations and events, including large-scale offsites that require the support of an expert facilitator
  • Work with and influence the design team to identify and develop the correct learning solutions and advise the business on addressing additional performance indicators and enhancements needed outside of skill and knowledge
  • Develop and deliver highly complex or customized learning experiences
  • Partner with the design team in developing learning evaluation strategies, measuring and monitoring training effectiveness, and overseeing and collecting findings to inform additional design

qualifications

  • A passion for guiding and supporting our collective in discovering, developing, and activating their unique potential for the world
  • 8+ years’ experience in adult learning facilitation or development in functional training, leadership development + career development
  • Proficiency in priority/ project management, presenting ideas and concepts, and ability to quickly develop trust
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines if needed on project
  • Cross-functional and collaboration skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strengths in organization, and influence; solutions-oriented problem-solving.
  • BA degree or certificate in Business, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour or Education
  • Coaching certification or 3+ years coaching practice
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as essential tools for conscious leadership
  • Demonstrated experience or a keen interest in learning and engaging in mindfulness practices.

Compensation and Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $103,500-$135,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
