Description:

The Senior Learning Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, complex learning programs and integrating innovative technologies within the Learning Team’s workflows. This role involves strategic implementation and maintenance of project management software, as well as collaboration across multiple departments and seniority levels. The Senior Learning Project Manager champions cutting-edge learning solutions and ensures the delivery of high-quality, impactful learning experiences and programs.
As a seasoned learning professional in the financial services industry, the individual is passionate about learner experience, adept at managing multifaceted projects, and committed to applying best practices in instructional design and technology integration. The role requires close collaboration with subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to support strategic sales campaigns and programs, ensuring optimal deployment and utilization of learning assets. The individual should possess extensive knowledge of financial services and related learning needs, enabling the design and implementation of industry-specific learning solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of comprehensive learning programs including the SAM Learning Program.
  • Champion the integration of advanced technologies within the Learning team’s workflows.
  • Strategically implement and maintain project management software, providing training and support to the team.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement across multiple departments, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Supervise a team, overseeing their work output and managing their time effectively.
  • Monitor and report on learning statistics, ensuring accurate tracking of learning activities, usage and demand.
  • Ensure the best learner experience by managing access points and back-end project management systems.
  • Explore and utilize innovative and targeted deployment methods for learning.
  • Maintain world-class quality standards for training resources, employing the fundamental principles of instructional design.
  • Continuously build personal knowledge of learning technology and LSEG’s propositions.
  • Inspire colleagues to do exceptional work, creating a collaborative, fun, and productive work environment.

Skills Required:

  • Profound knowledge of Instructional Design and Adult Education principles.
  • Advanced project management skills with experience in large-scale, complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI technology and its applications in learning; including, prompt engineering, AI integration, and leveraging machine learning algorithms to enhance learning experiences.
  • Excellent understanding of sales methodology and modern selling techniques.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning technology, video editing, and development tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Audacity, Articulate Rush, Rise and Storyline, VSCode.
  • Extensive MS Excel skills, including VBA.
  • The ability to leverage programmatic solutions to problems through IDE’s.
  • Strong English language skills (written and verbal communication).

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Postgraduate degree in a relevant field
  • Project Management accreditation (Prince2 / PMP / Agile)
  • Accreditation in Instructional Design and/or Adult Education is desired (CIPD or equivalent).
  • Korn Ferry Client Relationship Management Training
  • Extensive experience in curriculum design and learning management.
  • Minimum working experience:
  • 5 years in an educational management field
  • 3 years in financial services industry or related field
