Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Health professional degree (with specialisation in Paediatrics and Child Health at Masters level) or PhD
  • Registration with relevant health professional council
  • Prior teaching experience and supervision of postgraduate students
  • Experience conducting research

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL AND CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMMES

Develops and improves student training curricula and programmes, and continuing education programmes for the professional paediatric and public health community.

  • Develops teaching aids for students such as instructional software, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and study materials.
  • Develops instructional materials and continuing education programmes for the professional paediatric and public health community.
  • Conducts in-service and community-based educational programmes.
  • Prepares reviews, monographs, technical reports and systematic analysis of the published literature for publication
