Our Accounting team is looking to hire a Senior General Ledger Accountant (all genders) who will be overseeing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end close processes. If your skill-set matches the below criteria, then we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and regularly update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
