Senior Legal Advisor - Corporate/ General
Job Description:

KEY SKILLS NEEDED FOR THIS ROLE:

• Qualified Solicitor/ Lawyer with broad company and commercial experience including experience in one or more of corporate, commercial contracting, disputes, brand protection or regulatory experience
• Experience in a high growth environment solving complex, global problems.
• Managed relationships with senior stakeholders, with the ability to syndicate ideas, build consensus and keep stakeholders informed
• Worked in matrix roles with a high degree of cross-functional dependency, particularly interaction on regulatory compliance and reputational risk issues
• Good experience of advising on complex matters and transactions with a strong international dimension to them, for exle, cross border M&A transactions or partnerships
• Experience in effective management of law firms and other external legal suppliers
• Useful, but not necessary experience: intellectual property law and pensions law experience

Within this role you will be part of the Group legal team accountable for providing legal advice to underpin delivery of Bupa’s business strategy and purpose. The Group team:

• Partners other functional teams, enabling achievement of their objectives and accountabilities
• Partners with Bupa’s global legal community to deliver the objectives of Bupa’s global Legal function, in support of Bupa’s strategic framework
• Maintains the legal risk management framework and governance at enterprise leve
