Nuclear Transport Solutions (NTS) is looking for its newest legal contracts superstar to join our growing team to draft and negotiate our commercial contracts. If you want international, high-profile work with global impact, this could be the role for you if you have a contracts, procurement or legal background and can regularly travel to Warrington or Carlisle (you must be UK based).
Nuclear Transport Solutions (NTS), part of the UK’s Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA), is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient clean-up of the UK’s nuclear legacy. We specialise in the operational, commercial, engineering, legal, and regulatory expertise that underpins nuclear transport and logistics operations. Our work spans across rail, road, and shipping transport, and we work with governments and energy providers worldwide on sensitive nuclear transport solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for high-profile international projects (with UK drafting experience)
- Collaborate with internal business partners, law firms, external customers, and suppliers (we expect someone with at least 3 years drafting experience to be suitable for this role)
- Manage contract risks, provide expert advice on contractual issues and ensure compliance with regulations
- Contribute to the development of templates and best practices to streamline contract management processes
- Play a key role in supporting nuclear transport projects that have a global impact
