WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Deloitte is seeking for a talented legal counsel to support Hungarian Deloitte entities in legal matters. The senior legal counsel will be part of the in-house legal team (team of 7 co-workers) and will report to the head of legal.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Proficient in written and spoken legal English and Hungarian.
• From 8-10 years of post-qualification and relevant experience.
• Bar exam must have, LLM nice to have.
• Proven experience in law gained in multinational/international companies as an in-house legal professional
• Strong and professional experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Independence, good problem-solving skills, business thinking.
• Ability to work with autonomy, but part of a collaborative team.
• Project management skills.

YOUR FUTURE ROLE

• Provide legal and strategic advice at various levels on legal matters.
• Review, draft, negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers.
• Provide legal review and legal risk assessment, including legal risk mitigation.
• Research and evaluation of various risk factors to support business decisions and operations.
• Regular monitoring of new legislation and regulatory requirements and their subsequent implementation.
• Cooperate with the regional legal team.
• Provide support in compliance (including implementation of policies, conducting local audits, holding trainings, etc) matters.
• Support the work of the team leader.
