Description:
ODIN HELPS PEOPLE TO RAISE AND DEPLOY CAPITAL SEAMLESSLY
We envision a world where people can vote with their money on what the future looks like, and participate in creating it.
We’re starting by making it radically easier for anyone, anywhere, to launch & run an angel syndicate or venture firm.
We handle all the “plumbing” through one seamless platform - everything from setting up the legal structure for an investment vehicle through to processing payments.
We’re already trusted by over 5,000 VCs, angels and founders, and we are just getting started.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Founders, you’ll:
- Lead the structuring and establishment of SPVs & funds in multiple jurisdictions, ensuring optimal legal structures, tax efficiency and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate closely with the product and technology teams on new product releases, providing insights from a legal perspective
- Coordinate and work closely with external counsel, finance, and operational teams on all fund formation and investment-related activities
- Oversee our regulatory responsibilities and interactions with the regulator in multiple jurisdictions
- Lead in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with lawyers
- Take ownership of implementing internal legal policies and operations to manage risk and ensure best practices in regulatory standards
- Own and maintain all compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring Odin is compliant across all jurisdictions
This is our first legal hire—a rare opportunity to build a function from scratch in a founding role within a fast-paced startup backed by world-leading investors. You’ll join a high-performing team and make a significant impact with a clear pathway for growth and the opportunity to shape our company’s legal landscape.
