Description:
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Our new colleague has a Master’s degree in Danish Law (cand.jur or cand.merc.jur) combined with an extensive professional background as legal advisor – either from a law firm or as an in-house counsel, which has given you a high degree of insight into one or more of the areas complex IT contracts, GDPR and possibly also M&A transactions and international company law. Preferably you have a great interest in GDPD and (extensive) hands-on experience with drafting and negotiating different types of IT contracts, including consultancy contracts and DPAs as well as contract management hereof and advising on GDPR.
You have a natural interest in the IT market and are ready to explore and learn about our business as well as you are eager to learn about and advise on the new tech regulations. You have a solid commercial/strategic mindset and an open personality, which you together with your legal background and diplomatic skills use to rapidly assess potential risks and consequences of business and legal decisions, as well as solve complex issues and reach pragmatic solutions and consensus between parties.

Responsibilities:
As our new Senior Legal Counsel, you will together with the rest of the Legal team, act as trusted advisor on mainly contractual and IT related regulatory matters, but also corporate/M&A matters and contract management, if it has your interest. We work closely together with the NNIT business units as well as NNIT’s management and our other administrative functions to ensure professional and operation legal support to the business.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Reviewing, drafting and participating in negotiating primarily customer contract, including DPAs, but also procurement contracts
- Advise on regulatory matters primarily within GDPR, NIS 2 and AI Act, but also on competition law and public procurement law now and then
- Support the business in producing compliance documentation in relation to especially GDPR, but also other regulatory rules
- Handle disputes with customers and suppliers
- Possibly support in M&A transactions and daily corporate housekeeping, including integrations of acquisitions into the NNIT group
- Support the business with contract management activities
- Prepare and update standard contracts and policies
The legal team also secures regulatory compliance and you will be given certain compliance areas where you will be responsible for learning the compliance area and educating the rest of the legal team and the NNIT organization.
