About the function
The Customer Service Stream of the GDBS Cash Cycle Process entails Customer Service and depending on market even Logistics Advisor activities for GDBS served countries.
It ensures accurate operation of processes from incoming customer orders to final deliveries with continuous order-to-ship end-to-end issue resolution. Service Delivery entails close business partnering with the market logistics, sales and customer service teams.
The OTC Process serves around 25 markets/countries.
About the role
The Logistics Advisor role is responsible for smooth business operation and to ensure that all logistics and payment related queries are followed up and resolved accurately, efficiently and according to the relevant SLA
Logistics Advisor proactively manages relationship with 3PLs, collaborate with Supply Chain and Customer Service, is responsible for stock reconciliation, interface monitoring, book to book and manual stock movement).
The role is responsible for a specific process – logistics across GDBS served markets.
- To contribute ideas, energy, passion and support to the continuous improvement of the „Cash Cycle” process (within pre-defined parameters as set out by Brand Owners)
- To ensure that internal control procedures are rigorously adhered to
- Proactive and service orientated collaboration with Warehouse/Customer Service/AMS/IMC (strong networking, influencing and communication skills required)
- Interface monitoring incl. issue solving (INC submission, testing)
- Enable smooth goods movement
- Create and trigger transmission of deliveries for customer order upon request from Sell To Cash
- Daily, weekly and period closing (month’s/year’s end) book reconciliations
- This has a direct impact on STC (stock availability) and Supply as the safety stock levels are one main factor that drives production.
- Financially the role influences stock values as any stock corrections have financial impact
- Manual stock bookings include breakages, losses, stock transfers and inventory variances and are made in intense coordination with NEL finance and other stock owners in Diageo
- Build positive relationship with 3PL, AMS, STC, IMC and Logistics Finance in the DBSC
- Complete CARM assessments and if required complete CARM tests
What you will bring
- Proficient English language knowledge
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- System skills (SAP knowledge)
- 2 years Logistics or OTC experience
- Strong MS Office knowledge
- College or university Degree
- Having an overview of market and customer specifics
- Strong understanding of end to end supply operational process
