  • Strong verbal communication to effectively express concepts, plans, and proposals.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative-taker requiring minimal supervision.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • 20 years of logistic experience in the U.S military preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics or a business discipline is required.
  • Experience with financial management in the Navy.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Outlook) is required.
  • Proficiency in Stock Control functions, ERP, ASD operations, NALCOMIS, AIS, NAVSUP One Touch, FIMARS, and NAVAIR processes.
  • Proficiency in Consolidate Shipboard Allowance List (COSAL), Targeted Allowance Reconciliation (T-ART), Automated Fleet COSAL Feedback Report (A-FCBR), Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS), Allowance Parts List (APL), Allowance Equipage List (AEL), R-SUPPLY, In-Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), Maintenance Assist Module (MAM).
  • Proficiency in Unmatched Disbursements (UMD), Common Interface (CIF), Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULO), and Unliquidated Liquidations (ULO).
  • Proficiency in U.S Government and U.S. Navy HAZMAT and MHE management programs regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in ESOH and OSHA regulations requirements, instructions, and guidelines.
  • CHRIMP and HMC&M procedures, instructions, policies and regulations.
  • Experience and knowledge of aircraft carrier (CVN) programs as they relate to Navy financial management, stock control operation, inventory management of the NWCF, Supply and maintenance operation, configuration management, hotel service, food preparation, laundry and ship store services, and HAZMAT management, forklift inventory and management, and all other related shipboard services as they relate to large afloat activities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Lifting to 40 lbs.
