Senior Logistics Officer

Our company is looking for a senior logistics officer with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience to handle all our incoming and outgoing shipments.

SKILLS

· With keen attention to details needed in preparing the Commercial invoice, packing list and COO.
· Highly-organized
· With wide knowledge on logistics practices within the gulf.
· Minimum 10 years’ experience on shipping and logistics
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From AED5,000.00 per month

Education:

• Bachelor’s (Required)

Experience:

• Logistics: 4 years (Required)

· Responsible for arranging shipment for inbound and outbound.
· Handles shipment clearances.
· Coordinates with clearance agents to facilitate timely customs release.
· Knowledgeable with clearance process within the Middle East (Qatar, Jordan, Kuwait, UAE etc..)
· Can handle shipments from US, UK, and China or anywhere in the world.
· Tracks and monitors shipments to ensure on time delivery.
· Develops reports on products/materials movements and various operational logistics issues.
· Provide updates (internal/external) on the status of their shipments in transit.
· Develops logistics along with support plans, budget requirements and organization timelines for new operations.
· Prepares reports on material/products and personnel movements and various operational logistics problems.
· Assesses existing logistics operations systems and advise on corrective measures to be undertaken.
· Assists in designing and developing standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently.
· Comply with all applicable company directives, policies, and procedures.
· Monitors the material movement to and from the warehouse.
· Ensures customers receives their products in a timely manner and good condition.
· Coordinates and presents logistics support to ongoing operations.
