REQUIREMENTSESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• 5+ years of experience with Magento development (2.x).
• Strong expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Solid experience with Magento theming and custom module development.
• Deep understanding of Magento architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

DESIRABLE SKILLS (NOT ESSENTIAL):

• Magento certifications (e.g., Adobe Certified Expert – Magento Commerce Developer).
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or other cloud-based environments.
• Knowledge of SEO and web performance optimisation.
• Experience with other eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) is a plus.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Senior Magento Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and optimisation of eCommerce projects for our clients. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom Magento-based solutions while ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Magento (2.x), strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality eCommerce solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules, themes, and extensions.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of eCommerce projects from concept to launch.
• Optimise Magento websites for speed, scalability, and usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, including performance bottlenecks and code bugs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and project managers, to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services with Magento.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Magento development.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
