We are excited to announce the new position of Senior Mainframe Specialist for Developer Journey Automation squad within the Developer Experience (DX) tribe.
Joining us means being part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team where you can contribute your expertise, learn from others, and play a crucial role in shaping the future of software development within the organization.
Responsibilities:
We imagine you are good at knowledge sharing and experience in and/or understanding of DevOps principles and practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, code revisions, IaC, TDD, application monitoring) You have a degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area, and at least 5 years of mainframe experience (e.g. COBOL, PL/1, CICS, DB2, JCL, IBM Rational Tools.
You also master;
- Knowledge in Data modelling, module design, batch design, and interface and API design.
- Analytical thinking and are with problem-solving skills.
- Knows how to discuss technical solutions on different technical levels.
- A significant skillset within data processing, complex logic and integration between domains.
- Agile development (Scrum, user story writing etc.)
- Demonstrate continuous learning.
- Encourage collaboration in the chapter and squad.
- Strengthen and improve discipline within the chapter.
