Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage, maintain, and implement data storage solutions, utilizing DELL PMAX, DELL DLM, IBM DS8K and IBM VTS
  • Prepare, allocate, manage, and decommission disk and storage systems by leveraging OS utilities, processes, and functions
  • Continuously search and implement automated monitoring processes to proactively prevent customer-impacting incidents
  • Coordinate with hardware teams to upgrade storage devices and micro-code upgrades
  • Work on project teams, deliver on key project milestones, and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people
  • Install, configure, and ongoing operation of key IBM and DELL software products: TDMF, Control Center and Mainframe Enablers
  • Participate in disaster recovery infrastructure: plan, build, and test
  • Provide 24x7 on-call rotational support as required
