Description:
Organon is hiring a Senior Maintenance Specialist to join our packaging team based at our world class manufacturing site in Cramlington, Northumberland. In this role, you will be responsible for driving engineering best practices, delivering the department’s planned preventative maintenance program. Supporting the engineering manager with planned and unplanned maintenance activities based on operations priorities and coordinating resources. This involves the effective communication with all stakeholders and customers to prioritise and effectively schedule work to minimise downtime and maximise asset performance.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Relevant industry experience including cGMP knowledge.
- CMMS familiarity, SAP experience advantageous.
- Ability to analyse data, prioritise work and labour resources based on priorities.
- Technical writing skills for investigations, reports and procedures.
- Ability to effectively organise and plan work to meet set priorities and deadlines.
- Leadership, integrity, resilience, flexible to current and new situations.

Responsibilities:
- Setting priorities and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the engineering technicians.
- Supports the delivery of planned preventive maintenance program.
- Drive maintenance effectiveness and maintenance strategy improvements.
- Able to identify and prioritise multiple areas of work, projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure safe work practices are always implemented and escalate any safety or quality issues immediately and effectively following site systems.
- Deputise for area engineering manager as required.
- Complete and oversee management of change as required.
- Support any Safety and Quality investigations.
- Liaise with contractors, defining scope of works and planning activities.
- Facilitates timely remediation of equipment issues and drive effective root cause analysis.
