Key Responsibilities

· Accounts Payable - Coding supplier invoices and running weekly payment runs

  • Accounts Receivable - raising sales invoices, producing aged debt reports, credit control
  • Preparation of cashflow forecasts
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Performing weekly bank reconciliations

· Maintaining the general ledger in Xero
· Maintain Fixed Asset Registers
· Manage the Month end close process and completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
· Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns.
· Support process improvements and system development
· Preparation of ad-hoc financial analysis as required
· Support year end audit process
· Other ad-hoc duties
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
• ACA, ACCA or CIMA fully or partial Qualifications
• Technical accounting knowledge such as double entries.
• Intermediates Excel skills
• Professionalism
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Prior work experiences in start-up company
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Experiences in using Xero but not essential
