Responsibilities:

THE ROLE…

The Senior Acquisition Manager is a pivotal role to the ongoing success of Paddy Power. The role centres on attracting new customers to the Paddy Power brand. This role will lead on the delivery of PP commercial priorities within acquisition, driving the commercial strategy to explore all opportunities to engage prospective customers across all PP.com products.
This role will embrace the squads & teams ways of working, needing a truly cross functional approach to drive Paddy Power forward. The successful candidate will be a critical individual contributor, and will have significant exposure to senior management across Flutter.
The role reports to the Director of Customer Value Management

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING…

  • Ownership of commercial acquisition proposition: Work in sync with the digital performance teams to land the Paddy Power proposition with prospective customers. Continually understand and review acquisition performance, understanding trends across acquisition channels and efficiency of acquisition promotions. Be responsible for the commercial budget for acquisition, including management of spend & performance.
  • Lead the Acquisition Squad : Own and drive the agenda for the Acquisition squad across Sports and Gaming. Own the conversation around strategic priorities, upcoming opportunities and pursuit of growth. Represent commercial interests in decision making around acquisition generosity, customer quality, scaling opportunities and investment allocation.
  • Utilise levers to drive Acquisition performance : Understand acquisition performance and macro trends to leverage areas of strength, and work with stakeholders to remedy areas of weakness. Embrace a test and learn culture with the Paddy Power team to pursue any opportunity for improvement and innovation.
  • Marquee event planning : Devise plans around key events such as Spring Racing and major football tournaments to leverage the PP brand and drive efficient return on acquisition investment for the business. Co-ordinate and collaborate with digital marketing channels to execute plans for a flawless customer experience at the moments that really matter.
  • Cross Functional Working : a key part of Paddy Power’s ways of working is the establishment of squads and teams. This role will lead sub groups within the squads to deliver on strategic outcomes. Requiring cross functional leadership skills alongside planning and collaboration.
