Description:
Our market-leading Specialised and Asset Finance business operates globally with a focus on providing bespoke leasing, secured debt and equity solutions to clients in a range of sectors including mining/resources, transportation and energy/utilities. Our Sydney-based team is looking for a Senior Manager / Associate Director to lead the Structuring and Execution of our Australian transactions.

What role will you play?
As a senior member of our Structuring and Execution team, you will be responsible for collaborating with our origination team to lead the structuring and execution of transactions across our business. You will engage and manage both internal stakeholders and key clients, and develop, mentor, and lead a high performing team. You will achieve successful outcomes for our clients by combining Macquarie’s entrepreneurial and innovative culture, risk management framework as well as financing and execution capabilities to provide market-leading solutions
What you offer
- 5 – 10+ years’ experience in banking or financial services, either in asset finance, debt advisory, corporate finance, asset management or asset valuation related sectors
- Ability to lead, develop and manage effective relationships with direct reports, internal stakeholders and clients in a fast paced and exciting work environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven track record of being able to identify and deliver demonstrable commercial outcomes
Practical knowledge of legal documentationStrong working knowledge of financial modelling, accounting and tax. CA qualifications are preferred but not essential.
