ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you ready to take the lead in crafting the future of brand marketing at Sephora? Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing, you will play a key role in enhancing the Brand Marketing function at Sephora Canada. You will lead your category team in the development and execution of strategic marketing plans, leveraging Sephora’s tools to drive brand engagement, traffic, and loyalty in collaboration with Sephora’s brand partners. This role will allow you to make a meaningful impact by driving brand success and elevating Sephora’s presence in the market!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Brand Marketing Partner

  • As a people leader, mentor and develop a high-performing team
  • Lead the marketing relationship for a portfolio of brands, serving as the primary marketing contact and engaging regularly on business matters
  • Gain a deep understanding of each brand’s business, priorities, and products
  • Facilitate high-level marketing discussions with senior leaders in partner brands
  • Provide strategic and tactical advice to help brands succeed at Sephora, using an omni-channel approach to achieve shared business goals
  • For select brands with limited marketing resources, offer guidance on general marketing strategy and effective use of their resources, both within and beyond Sephora’s ecosystem
  • Develop and present brand program proposals to generate excitement and secure commitment
  • Maintain and update brand marketing exposure calendars as part of an ongoing planning cycle
  • Lead all aspects of the execution of brand plans with excellence, ensuring all brand activation needs are met

Marketing Collaborator

  • Develop comprehensive omni-channel partnership programs
  • Secure brand participation in Sephora’s co-op marketing programs
  • Analyze and report on the return on investment (ROI) for collaborative marketing efforts, using data to offer recommendations that drive success for both Sephora and its brand partners
  • Identify new opportunities and build the case for innovative co-op marketing programs and partnerships

Cross-Functional Leader

  • Act as the primary marketing contact for Sephora category merchants
  • Build strong, reciprocal relationships across functions within Sephora’s matrixed organization (e.g., merchandising, retail marketing, communications, creative, digital marketing, DotCA, experiential marketing, loyalty, sampling, store services, education, and analytics)
  • Collaborate with US counterparts to influence strategies for the Canadian market
  • Create detailed brand briefs to kick off projects with cross-functional teams
  • Advocate for brand partners internally and bring their plans to life through organized processes and follow-up
  • Review and provide constructive feedback on creative work
  • Demonstrate and embody Sephora’s values in all interactions
