Description:
HOW WILL I HELP?
We’re seeking a Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring COO to proactively identify, manage, mitigate, and monitor risks for the Consumer Division through key risk management programs focused on controls. As part of the Value Chain, Controls Management, and Delivered Risk team, which reports to the Head of Business and Controls Monitoring within the Consumer COO, you’ll be responsible for monitoring, managing, and enhancing the controls within the Consumer Division. This broader team also oversees delivered risk on key divisional projects within the Consumer Division.
In this role, you’ll work with a team of risk professionals to support the Division in managing, reporting, and uplifting controls, ensuring they’re fit for purpose to address obligations and risks. You’ll adopt value chain views and insights as needed and provide subject matter expertise to the business regarding risk and compliance policies and obligations. This ensures business operations, risk management practices, and controls align with the wider Group. Additionally, you’ll lead the reporting to relevant forums, including divisional reporting, briefing notes, and any other risk reports required for provision to the Consumer LOBs and BUs.
Your responsibilities will include performing control assessments on Consumer COO divisional controls and managing the development of integrated and effective solutions for resolving risk and control issues and incidents. This is to drive a strong risk and controls culture that helps achieve business objectives. You’ll also manage and oversee the reporting of and insights into themes emerging from QA reviews for business acceptance and actioning.
