Benevity is the way the world does good, providing companies (and their employees) with technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia and more!
The Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and overall success of the global Business Development function and driving pipeline and revenue. This senior role requires a blend of strategic vision, leadership acumen, and operational excellence to drive high-impact results. If you’re excited about leading a global team, making a meaningful impact, and shaping the future of our business development efforts, this could be the perfect role for you!
Please note, this role is based out of our Toronto office, with the expectation of a strong in-office presence.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Design and execute long-term strategies to align the BDR function with company goals and market trends
  • Mentor and coach a high-performing BDR team, fostering growth through professional development
  • Manage daily activities and track performance metrics, ensuring success across weekly, monthly, and annual targets
  • Strategize campaigns and spiffs to hit quarterly and annual goals
  • Continuously optimize the BDR model to maximize pipeline impact through both inbound and outbound efforts
  • Build and implement success plans for each BDR team member
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Revenue Operations for cohesive strategy execution and improvement
  • Oversee the inbound BDR function to ensure smooth and effective lead management
  • Develop strategies for hiring, training, and motivating BDRs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Sales Leaders
  • Design and refine workflows and account assignments for efficient BDR operations
