Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Channel Readiness is part of a team responsible for orchestrating successful delivery of high-priority initiatives for Straight Talk, Total Wireless, Verizon Prepaid, Simple Mobile, Walmart Family Mobile, and Tracfone in the Verizon Value CRO organization. This role will partner closely and cross functionally with multiple Brand & Distribution leads as well as Commercial / Implementation, Marketing, Operations, and GTS teams across the Value Organization to collaborate on how to bring products and services to life and deliver on Value Organization objectives. This role works cross functionally to ensure all downstream execution requirements are gathered and cared for, and keeps teams informed & prepared in order to deliver superior customer experiences.
In this position, you will partner with the Commercial, Customer Marketing and Sales leads for the respective brands to understand business needs and collaborate on the development of projects and programs across the portfolio of brands. This role is responsible for the planning, development, & delivery of core training for pricing, plans, and promos, which are customizable by Brand & Channel. The team also assists with “the last mile” GTC efforts, helping to ensure flawless execution of core product launches, including coordination with Channel leads, strategy, operations, frontline, and other cross-functional teams. This is a highly visible role that requires strong prioritization, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills as you will navigate multiple complex work streams, ensuring successful on-time delivery. You possess a strong blend of analytical, tactical skills, and possess a fierce commitment to quality and productivity. You can create an engaging presentation that tells a clear story highlighting plans and expected results.

Responsibilities:

  • Executes the strategy for our Channel Readiness workstreams in alignment with the blueprint for growth VVO strategy
  • Translates functional plans into operational processes and is the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) responsible for large and complex cross-functional projects.
  • Builds strong relationships across teams to set our Brand and Channel partners up for success in serving customers across Value brands
  • Accountable for intake and prioritization for Value initiatives such as launches, promotions, training, and communications.
  • Partners with with our EPO, PMO and GTM teams to build seamless ways of working in bringing initiatives to channel teams for execution
  • Drives coordination efforts across our Go-to-Channel teams’ and project / program leads, business stakeholders and the Value leadership team for comprehensive, consistent initiative updates
  • Contributes to development of operational objectives and principles to achieve goals
  • Participates in governance processes to ensure stakeholder alignment from intake to execution
  • Contributes to the creation of compelling and well-supported executive presentations to communicate readiness plans, and status updates at senior leadership meetings and governance reviews
  • Acts as point of alignment and inspection of upstream decisions and activities before channel execution
  • Executes a formal post-mortem process to ensure key objectives are met for an iterative execution approach.
