Join our Support Group Compliance Team and play a pivotal role providing Line 2 Compliance support to Macquarie’s Central Services Groups.

What role will you play?
As a Senior Manager, you will provide compliance advice, conduct product and business reviews and oversight of incident and issue management. You will provide Line 2 oversight, monitoring and training for regulatory regimes and frameworks, including but not limited to, OTC derivatives transaction reporting, client money, margining and collateral management, regulatory record keeping, market integrity and conduct.
In this role, you will engage in and advise on the implementation of regulations impacting these regimes and will actively consult and assist the Central Services Teams with controls, processes, systems and operations developments and changes.

What you offer

  • Demonstrable experience in Compliance or Risk Management gained with the Banking/Financial Services Industry either via a financial institution or professional services organisation
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Finance, Commerce or similar discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proactively identify and analyse problems and propose viable solutions.Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with senior stakeholders

    In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
