Senior Manager, Content Marketing
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Content Marketing to lead our content strategy and execution. You will report to the Director, Demand Generation and Marketing Operations and partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Creative to develop the content strategy, define the content roadmap, and create and execute content marketing plans in pursuit of specific business objectives around awareness, product adoption, and revenue.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the B2B marketing client-facing content strategy that aligns with the buyer’s journey and business objectives.
  • Manage the content team and agency relationships.
  • Develop and maintain the editorial calendar, delegate tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Create high-quality long and short-form written content, including, blogs, reports, email campaigns, paid media, organic social posts, campaign landing pages, and other educational and thought leadership content.
  • Content needs and cadence will vary; however, on average, the expectation is 10-12 new emails, 6-8 blog posts, 20-25 social posts, and 3-5 gated assets per month. Additionally, the content team is responsible for supporting paid ad content.
  • Script internal production of multimedia formats such as videos, infographics and audio.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop thought leadership content
  • Ensure that all content aligns with the brand voice.
  • Proofread and edit content.
  • Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and drive organic traffic to our website and other digital channels.
  • Measure and analyze content performance using relevant metrics and tools, providing insights and recommendations to optimize content strategy and improve marketing results.
  • Responsible for delivering engaging content, through various forms and channels, that drive increased traffic, along with engagement and leads via our solutions site.

Critical Experience and Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in content creation, strategy, and management in B2B Tech
  • Experience with people management, with proven ability to inspire and motivate a creative team.
  • Strong organizational skills to drive multiple high-priority initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive engagement, thought leadership and achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of brand voice.
  • Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a data-driven approach to content optimization and performance analysis
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools.
  • Experience in developing and managing social media content and engagement.
  • Experience using project management tools and CMSs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to translate business objectives into actionable content plans
  • Ability to provide creative design direction
  • Ability to delegate tasks and communicate copy direction

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in the multifamily industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in Asana, Webflow, Sendible, G-Suite, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console, EveryoneSocial
  • Strong eye for design

The compensation information below is provided in compliance with all applicable disclosure requirements.
Base Pay Range: $145,000.00 - 160,000.00. Actual base pay will depend on varying circumstances, including the position, location, individual qualifications, market finances, and other operational business needs. Depending on the position, compensation may also include commissions, bonuses, and equity.
