Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity in meeting different challenges that involves the utilization of multiple tools and methods. It’s up to you to make decisions and the results of those decisions through data-driven approach.

The process flow methodology is then used to develop swim lane diagram which graphically displays the actual process occurring on exact ground and tapping logical value stream on continuous improvement that achieves breakthrough in operations excellence. In the end, you will build your capabilities through job experience, mentoring, and training.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities with business units and countries to enhance the bottom line.
  • Utilize lean methodologies to identify waste and enhance both process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leverage productivity metrics and available data to launch cost-saving initiatives.
  • Challenge the status quo and seek new solutions: Embrace a growth mindset rather than a fixed one. Focus on generating proposals instead of justifications, as there is always room for improvement.
  • Maintain the highest standards: Strive for continuous improvement and never settle for the current state. Adopt a mindset of perpetual progression.
  • Prioritize the process: Develop a healthy obsession with streamlining processes and optimizing resource use. Encourage team members to contribute improvements and adopt a problem-solving approach.
  • Conduct deep dives: Enhance performance through thorough diagnostic investigations of operations and data. Be bold in uncovering the root causes of issues.
  • Rely on data: Utilize detailed information for informed decision-making, both internally and externally. Data is a valuable tool for fostering employee ownership of processes. Remember, what gets measured gets managed and improves.
  • Design and drive full implementation of group-wide operational excellence program that enables accelerated continuous improvement
  • Develop strategy for adoption of continuous improvement, best practices and standards in operations across the organisation.
  • Improve service level quality to boost customer satisfaction and attract more business.
  • Develop a skilled pool of Continuous Improvement (CI) resources across functions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Master / Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or relevant discipline
  • 8 years of experience in an operations related field and/or process engineering
  • Well versed in the application of Lean Management, Six Sigma, Value-Stream Mapping and/or other Operations Excellence tools (certified Six-Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred)
  • Experience in conceptualisation and roll-out of company-wide Operations Excellence programs
  • Knowledge of either processing/manufacturing/aviation/food-catering industry will be advantageous
  • A team player with high Initiative, demonstrated planning skills, strong data-driven analytical abilities and proven performance in operation problem-solving
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively across functional teams and at multiple levels within the organization
  • Proven organizational and leadership skills to motivate and influence others positively to drive for results
  • Ability to build strong relationships and partner with key stakeholders to build trust and influence at multiple levels within the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
