We are hiring our future Senior Manager, Domain Solutions Architect. The role is based in one of our ResMed entities in Europe, preferably in France, UK or Ireland.
LET’S TALK ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Computer Science or related discipline - Master’s degree preferred
- Significant experience managing and delivering software solutions
- 10 or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, database management,
- Significant Business acumen, exposure and significant experience in “customers” area like: marketing, sales & customer support, E-Commerce & ordering, distribution
- Strong appetite for technology. Leverage technology opportunities to solve problem and improve process efficiency at scale. Ability to “popularize” or “socialize” technology concepts in front of the business.
- Experience managing a global and cross-functional team.
- Balances the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions and organization goals.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong leadership skills, along with exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including in teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
- Proficiency in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Knowledge in cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
- Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, such as generative AI and its applications.
- Data security, data privacy, legal requirements, quality and compliance are part of the core job.
Responsibilities:
LET’S TALK ABOUT THE ROLE :
As the Senior Manager of “Customer Architecture and Innovation” you will lead architecture activities that guide the development and management of a portfolio of solutions in the “Customer Platform” area.
You understand the concepts of business goals, business capabilities, value-streams and business processes and their importance in solution architecture. This role is crucial for defining the target application landscape and maintaining architectural integrity.
You play a key role in establishing and governing an architecture board in the “Customer Platform” area.
You will also manage a team in charge of:
- designing, promoting robust and scalable technical architecture, enforcing standards (like patterns, reference models, platforms and configuration), driving technological innovation and overseeing pilot programs
- establishing a robust foundation for software testing by developing and implementing comprehensive testing methodologies and tools, and to infuse this foundation across other teams to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of software products,
- fostering team excellence by implementing best-in-class methodologies and monitoring performance
As a leader, your role will also include coaching and mentoring your team to meet and exceed commitments as well as managing stakeholder expectations.
LET’S TALK ABOUT RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Oversee the domain solutions architecture for the customer area, ensuring solutions are aligned with the overall GTS strategy and business needs.
- Establish and maintain architecture governance frameworks
- Facilitate and guide the definition of the target application landscape and its transition roadmap to align with business objectives.
- Guide the design and implementation of domain-specific solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Ensure seamless integration of domain solutions with other enterprise applications, promoting a unified GTS ecosystem.
- Liaise with other GTS leadership teams and the Enterprise Architecture (EA) practice to ensure alignment and collaboration on architectural and innovative initiatives.
- Coordinate the adoption of global GTS standards across the organization and actively contribute to their definition and ongoing evolution in close collaboration with the Strategy & Delivery team
- Contribute to the definition and enforcement of technical standards and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality across the GTS landscape.
- Drive technological advancements within the customer functional area by identifying and evaluating emerging technologies and innovative solutions.
- Oversee the development and execution of pilot programs to test and validate innovative solutions before wider implementation.
- Implement and oversee testing tools and methodologies to maintain high standards of quality and performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by integrating new methodologies, tools, and feedback loops to enhance customer GTS solutions.
- Define and monitor the performance of the customer team, ensuring that goals are met and exceeded through effective performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead and manage a global team composed of solution architect, business analysts. Inspire them to reach new heights of performance and innovation.
- Work effectively in a remote setting, collaborating with remote and global team members across multiple time zones to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
