EDUCATION
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA is a plus.
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience in ISO or cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
- 6+ years of progression in manufacturing leadership positions of increasing responsibility, with a preference for experience in reagent consumables manufacturing.
- Multi-shift management experience preferred.
- ERP system knowledge and an understanding of cost accounting/standard manufacturing financials.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Must demonstrate strong leadership abilities with the capability to use diverse resources, respond quickly, understand the impact of changes and decisions, facilitate agreement, build collaborative relationships, and understand internal and external customer needs.
- Knowledge of process engineering, standardization, and documentation with a track record of planning, implementing, and administering programs to achieve business objectives.
- Knowledge, experience, or training in Practical Process Improvement (PPI) or other Lean techniques and proficiency in process auditing.
- Ability to lead and organizational change.
- Project management training is a plus.
- Knowledge of finance, engineering, planning, EH&S, facilities, manufacturing, and quality.
- 5-10% travel as needed
