Qualifications Knowledge/Experience:

  • Understanding of the client franchise and their requirements
  • Strong understanding of the FX market and underlying products
  • Experience of understanding client execution hits and trends as well as ability to make change to increase wallet share

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the eCommerce FX offering and business franchise for FIs in Asia.
In addition the successful sales person will do cross asset sales offering the bank’s core FIC global market products

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:-

  • Take the initiative to build client and internal relationships to advance the eCommerce franchise in Asia for Banks, Corporates, Hedge Funds, Real Money and other Financial Institutions
  • Actively monitor the eFranchise to ensure broader client objectives are met in terms of wallet share and revenue generation
  • Identify key growth areas and devise strategies to deliver higher volumes, eRevenues and users
  • Working with the eFX Trading team to work on new projects to integrate new functionality or improve existing ones
  • Take responsibility and ownership of the eFX franchise in Asia and act as a point of escalation and risk mitigation

In addition to eFX role the successful candidate responsibilities will include:-

  • Proactively seek out new profitable clients and opportunities to increase wallet share with existing clients
  • Ensure dealing occurs only with approved clients and that the products traded are suitable for the client and the ICBCS strategy
  • Understand and facilitate the client onboarding process in accordance with relevant regulatory and internal guidelines
