OBJECTIVE

Anomali is seeking a dynamic, experienced Manager of Global and Field Events to drive event planning & execution in support of the sales and channel teams in Europe and the Middle East. Reporting to the Director, Global & Field Events, the Sr. Manager, Field and Channel Marketing will own the event strategy, production, logistics, budget management, vendor management, and all other aspects of Event Marketing for EMEA.
The successful candidate will work with regional teams to create a plan that is consistent with corporate, sales and marketing priorities and initiatives. They will be expected to plan and execute events that engage prospects, deliver new opportunities, and accelerate existing pipeline. Candidates will reside in Germany and the position requires travel to support events.
Location – Germany. Ideally Munich or Frankfurt but flexible within reasonable proximity to an airport.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 3-5 years of relevant event experience planning, organizing and leading B2B Enterprise SaaS Security sales and/or partner organizations across EMEA.
  • Proven operational excellence with managing vendors, facilities, shipping, booth builds, booth traffic engagement activities, and other event logistics, including very large scale regional and global events.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage multiple events simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and deliver event deliverables on schedule.
  • Solid project management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and last-minute changes.
  • Experience managing multiple budgets and staying within an allocated budget.
  • Proficiency with SalesForce.
  • Relevant industry trade show/event experience required.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills.

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS &WORKING ENVIRONMENT

o Languages: German (native fluency), English (fluent oral and high standard in written).
o Home office based – experience of working successfully in this way.
o Travel as necessary to develop the region and support channel partners, marketing events - (approximately 25-40%)
o Occasional travel out of region to attend corporate events / training events and company kick-offs.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for events that align with corporate, sales, channel, and marketing priorities and initiatives.

  • Drive vendor management, venues, shipping, event booth or display builds, attendee traffic, engagement activities, and other logistics for all EMEA events including trade shows, field events, user groups, conferences, seminars and Anomali hosted road-show events.
  • Manage event budgets, contracts and invoices ensuring tight control of expenses.
  • Manage post-event follow-up to include list uploads, event attribution and lead hand-off to the Marketing Operations Team.
  • Provide additional on-site support of events when necessary.
  • Establish event success criteria and objectives. Evaluate results against KPIs to ensure return on investment.
