QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Advanced degree and/or professional certification (CMA, CA, CPA)
10+ years progressive experience in leadership and people management positions
Healthcare or regulated industry and/or international experience preferred
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Entrepreneurial spirit; thrives in high-energy, fast-paced environments
Excellent knowledge of financial accounting and accounting standards
Experience working in a medium size global business
Resourceful, independent, critical thinker
Strong communicator skilled at messaging through data-driven insights
Expert understanding of accounting and financial processes and curiosity to look beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems
Transparent leader with a high level of integrity and track record of building trust-based relationships internally and externally
Adaptable change agent who activates team to drive Finance transformation
Proficiency in financial systems and tools and ability to leverage technologies
Recruit, retain and develop a bench of agile talent, incl. high potential employee
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all accounting, reporting, analysis and statutory compliance activities for ANZ. This includes direct and indirect taxation, banking, treasury, internal/external audits.
Advise general manager and commercial leaders on financial and operational issues
Set finance strategy to optimize business processes by assessing business needs and developing, proposing and implementing solutions
Partner with APAC Controller and FP&A head on implementation of best practices and leveraging the Business Service Center in Kuala Lumpur
Act as liaison to Corporate functions and Business Unit leaders in headquarters’ office in Irvine.
