RÉSUMÉ DES FONCTIONS…

The Senior Manager Finance, New Business will provide financial planning and analysis support to the strategic business partners of Walmart Connect, Luminate, and the Customer Office. These areas represent our advertising, data ventures, marketing, and customer insights teams. The role will be a key influencer in the use of data and analytics to guide informed business decisions by providing sound financial modeling and business cases.

  • Financial Planning : Partner and lead the business teams on the key traditional services provided – annual financial budgeting process and the forecast inclusive of both Opex and Capex.
  • Strategic Planning : Lead the strategic long-range planning process by aligning targets with lead business partners and creating operational building blocks based on trends and planned strategic changes. Influence the business on enablers required to deliver against the goals and proactively partner on identifying alternatives based on known risks or gaps.
  • Project Finance Support : Provide finance support for Strategic, Functional, or business unit led projects including ROI development, prioritization of capital or operational expenses, and recommendation of course correcting activities based on pre/post analysis.
  • Strategic Partnership : Act as the strategic business partner to the VP of the associated businesses and actively support strategic initiatives and new development.
  • Process Transformation : Transform current FP&A processes to streamline manual work while integrating closely with the eComm and Merchandising Finance teams in a matrixed organization.
  • Performance Management : Manage performance and hold our partners accountable to results through the cadence of the management and Executive meetings as determined by the legal agreement.
  • Education & Communication : Educate the organization on new businesses and communicate accordingly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance.
  • Previous experience directly supporting business partners with minimum oversight.
