JOB SUMMARY

As a Die Casting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of die casting operations within the manufacturing facility. Your role will involve managing personnel, optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and implementing safety measures to achieve efficient and effective production outcomes.

• Lead and supervise a team of die casting and finishing operators, technicians and scheduler.
• Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and safety goals are met.
• Hire (when necessary) the talent needed to develop a strong performance Team.
• Develop talent within the team through coaching, training, and professional development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Able to identify Departmental grow path to support the Corporation Casting Strategy.
• Develop and implement production schedules based on customer orders and production capacity.
• Optimize equipment utilization and manpower allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Monitor production metrics (e.g., OEE, scrap rates) and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet targets.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to achieve zero-defect production.
• Investigate root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures to improve overall product quality.
