In this role, you will take ownership of eCommerce analytics on a global scale, playing a pivotal role in building an analytics product that delivers value to our customers and enhances our competitive edge in the market. Your focus will encompass a wide range of analytics areas in the logistics context, including inventory, order and transport management or the prediction of returns. You’ll leverage our extensive knowledge, resources, and best practices across all regions and countries and define appropriate commercialization strategies. Ultimately, your efforts will be key in driving our business growth.
You will be part of the global eCommerce & omnichannel team at DHL Supply Chain, closely collaborating with stakeholders from top management to operations. Let’s work together to shape the future of eCommerce logistics!
YOUR MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE:
- Own eCommerce Analytics: Continuously engage with global stakeholders to identify best practices and key initiatives, coaching the organization on additional areas where data analytics can make a significant impact.
- Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert and ambassador for data analytics within the eCommerce sector, sharing best practices globally.
- Scale Analytics and Insights: Develop and execute strategies to scale eCommerce data analytics and insights delivery across the organization, focusing on standardization and customer-facing portals.
- Customer-Focused Solutions: Develop and maintain both external and internal materials showcasing our eCommerce data analytics and insights capabilities, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring easy access to resources.
- Collaborative Delivery: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Solutions Design, Finance, Marketing, Business Development, and HR, to deliver analytics projects effectively and drive organizational success.
- Note: While we expect the role to come with strong analytics skills, the responsibilities will not include building the algorithms / models yourself, but rather to define the direction and utilize the organization’s resources (incl. technology infrastructure, data scientists) to manage delivery.
