WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Degree educated or equivalent;
- 6+ years progressive experience in global mobility including programme and policy management;
- Demonstrated knowledge of global mobility services, best practice, and compliance in the EMEA region, particularly UK, EU and Middle East;
- Demonstrated understanding of expatriate tax concepts including tax equalisation, permanent establishment, and shadow payrolls;
- Demonstrated experience overseeing immigration programmes across multiple countries in EMEA, particularly UK and Middle East;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the business and explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner, including with executive level leadership;
- Detail oriented with the ability to think quickly and practically, and to be able to multi-task, prioritise assignments, and deliver high quality client service;
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex issues in commercial and compliant, but also creative, business-friendly, and cost-effective ways with an appropriate sense of urgency;
- Challenges processes, looking for enhancements, efficiencies and improvements;
- Experience working in HR Information Systems, Workday preferred.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a large global matrix environment and influence key stakeholders. It is an exciting time to join our team as the region is growing rapidly.
The Global Mobility Sr. Manager will be the subject matter expert and strategic partner to HR, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders for all activities involved in the cross-border movement of employees in EMEA including relocation, tax and immigration.
You will report to the Global Mobility Director and oversee a team of Associate/Senior Associates supporting EMEA. You will work as part of a global team responsible for designing and developing a competitive programme to help FTI attract, retain and develop talent.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Serve as the EMEA regional specialist for all matters related to global mobility including relocation, tax and immigration;
- Manage cross-border movement of employees including permanent and fixed-term transfers, secondments, remote work and extended business travel into EMEA;
- Consult with and provide strategic advice/support to the business on complex cross-border business needs, ensuring adequate level of compliance and risk management;
- Provide advice and partner with other internal teams to ensure compliance and best practice for expatriate payroll, compensation, and benefits including shadow payroll in EMEA;
- Manage FTI’s immigration programme for EMEA, including coordination of work authorisation and visas, expiration tracking and renewal management, periodic review of right-to-work compliance, and strategic long-term immigration planning;
- Oversee compliance reviews that identify areas of risk exposure or non-compliance related to tax, wage reporting and immigration;
- Manage relationship with service providers for immigration, relocation, and tax, to ensure outstanding customer service, policy compliance, and data integrity;
- Partner with colleagues in global mobility and HR to understand and document current processes and find ways to automate/improve;
- Use data, benchmarking and feedback to monitor programme and policy effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Operations, Talent Acquisition, Legal, Payroll, and Finance and develop a partnership with business leaders across the region.
