OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree or higher in Engineering (mechanical / electrical / software), Business Administration, IT, or any combination.
  • 10+ years of related professional experience in an international business environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in senior leadership roles managing solution management or similar teams.
  • Extensive experience in Validation of IT systems used in R&D / development of Medical Devices or products & services from other industries like automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, or consumer goods.
  • Technical knowledge of: Windchill, Polarion, Thingworx, Modeler, Azure DevOps, JIRA
  • Proven track record in program / project management, controlling, and reporting key metrics, with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more PLM/ALM tools.
  • Demonstrated digital technology, IoT, and IT savviness across multiple projects.
  • Strong ability to structure complex topics and drive for results.
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills; capable of explaining complicated matters in a simple, structured way, solving conflicts, and motivating teams.
  • Fluency in the English language in the business environment (at least B2)
  • German language knowledge will be an asset.
  • Willingness to travel globally 20% of the time

Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior leadership and strategic direction to the global solution management team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Lead the development of team capabilities and competencies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation to maximize ROI.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining high-quality solution management services.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and make informed decisions to improve financial performance.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing the scope and quality of solution management services provided.
  • Drive initiatives to improve service delivery processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand service offerings and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations and align solution management services accordingly.
  • Handle escalations promptly and effectively, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Lead the expansion of the solution management team into new locations (Poland), including setting up new solution centers.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new team members.
  • Develop strategies for managing a geographically dispersed team and ensuring consistent service delivery.
  • Act as the point of contact for any escalated issues. Ensure these issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
