SENIOR MANAGER – ANGUS CONNECT

We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to join our growing company.
Angus Connect is a high-growth division focused on emerging technologies that will transform our clients’ businesses. We provide a range of services to help clients with technology planning, design and integration, including Information Management and Information Technology (IMIT) Planning and Design, Security, Network Infrastructure, Audiovisual, Smart Building technologies and management consulting. This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with clients to provide them with innovative solutions related to their ICAT needs. We are looking to fill this strategic role with a high-energy, enthusiastic, proactive and determined contributor to join in the team’s expansion.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have a P.Eng preferably in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.
  • 10+ years of Consulting Engineering experience
  • Must have experience in managing staff members and Projects
  • Experience with ICAT projects in a variety of market sectors
  • Ability to travel is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Leads, manages, and mentors a team of 4 to 6 engineers, designers, and project managers to deliver projects on a timely basis
  • Develops policy and implements strategy for short-term results (1 year or less)
  • Primarily responsible for managing, retaining, and developing staff members
  • Identifies and staffs projects either directly or through Project Managers
  • Acts as a primary relationship manager for a select group of clients
  • Monitors status of projects through Project Managers
  • Engages in performance management cycle for direct reports
  • Responsible for project billings of team
  • Responsible for financial performance of the projects that they invoice for
  • Develops proposals and pricing
  • Achieves financial/operational targets aligned with divisional results
  • Supporting the operational management of the Toronto office
