Overview:
This position is responsible for the strategy, optimization, enhancement, and maintenance of the company’s Global HR Information System (Workday) in addition to other systems supported by HR Operations. The role will be an integral team member leading HRIS projects and troubleshooting complex technical issues. You will serve as a technical point of contact for our HRIS system and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. In addition to supporting Workday, you will also oversee a team of analysts and coordinate to support the HRIS system.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the strategic design, delivery, and administration of our HRIS system (Workday)
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for core HCM and supporting modules including but not limited to Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Performance & Goals, Talent, and Integrations
  • Manage HR system-related projects, processes, and process improvements, including any associated change management, to facilitate any new implementation, update, or change that impact key business stakeholders.
  • Manage user permissions, access controls, training, and other system configurations, ensuring a secure and streamlined user experience for HR service users.
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human resources policies and processes as they apply to HRIS. Stays up to date with changes and anticipates impacts on systems and the HR team.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics in support of the HR team and other business leaders as needed.
  • Build and maintain a strong functional HRIS team through effective recruiting, training, coaching, team building and succession planning.
  • Manage HRIS-related vendor relationships and renewals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or high school diploma + relevant experience
  • 5-10 years of progressive Human Resources experience with at least 4 years of direct Workday HRIS experience and
  • 2 years of people leadership experience.
  • Functional knowledge of the Workday system required as well as technical knowledge of Workday EIB, Calculated fields, Report Writer, XML and XSLT are strongly desired skills. Must have strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and complex problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong prioritizing, project management, planning and organization skills with the ability to serve multiple customers effectively.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools such as Excel (for reporting), PowerPoint, and Word
