SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Experience implementing digital transformation and organisational change and fostering digital culture and capability development
- Experience identifying and evaluating emerging disruptive trends, including digitalisation and data analytics, analysing potential opportunities and risks and barriers to adoption
- Proven leadership experience of IT operations including planning, budgeting and people development
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience consulting across a multi-disciplined business
- Demonstrated ability in developing IT strategy whilst delivering on operational requirements
- Ability to analyse risk and develop mitigation strategies for business
- Excellent knowledge of computer hardware/software systems, technical management and information analysis and communication technologies

Responsibilities:
ROLE OVERVIEW:
This is an exciting opportunity to join UnitingSA’s team as the Senior Manager, IT and Digital Transformation. This role is responsible for leading the delivery of digital transformation projects, driving their implementation and providing strategic and operational leadership to the Information Technology team to collaboratively deliver exceptional customer experiences and streamline operational efficiencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and review project scopes in collaboration with Chief Financial Officer
- Monitor project completion and implement effective project evaluation methodologies
- Ensure network infrastructure, hardware, software applications and communication systems function reliably and effectively
- Provide leadership, direction and support to the IT team
- Lead technological research with an understanding of organisational goals, strategies, practices and projects
- Preserve assets by implementing disaster recovery and backup procedures, information security and control structures
- Actively manage the resources and cost of IT services by forecasting requirements, preparing operating and capital budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective action
- Ensure professional and technical knowledge is current and relevant to business objectives and future requirements
- Lead the IT team to ensure IT services comply with the standards of the UnitingSA IT security framework
