Job Expectations
We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Senior Manager IT Cyber Resilience reporting to the Executive Manager IT Security Controls, Secure Development and Resilience.
A bit about your role
As the Senior Manager IT Cyber Resilience, you are responsible for driving cyber resilience and response practices in the Systems Engineering and Operations (SEO) division of nbn. This will involve assessing and validating existing cyber resilience and response practices, identifying improvement opportunities for reducing attack surfaces, and overseeing remediation activities.
This role will see you collaborating with stakeholders across SEO and wider nbn teams. This will allow you to better understand the business security requirements and ensure robust security resilience practices. Additionally, this will be an opportunity to raise awareness to prevent incidents and promote overall resilience.
A bit about you
The successful candidate will bring expertise in leading cyber resilience and response or similar initiatives for a large enterprise. As this role is focused on driving initiatives and ensuring effective implementation, experience in project/program management is preferred.
You have strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies along with the ability to drive change and foster a culture of security awareness and resilience.
Due to the high level of stakeholder engagement required for this role, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong abilities in communicating, influencing, and engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
