As the Senior Manager of RT Health’s IT platforms team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the RT health IT platform.
You will lead a team responsible for managing and optimising IT for corporate and member services including datacentre, cyber security, cloud, network, storage and compute elements. Your hands on expertise will contribute to enhancing efficiency, performance and security of the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the head of technology to develop strategic technical solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT platform architecture that aligns with the objectives of RT Health.
  • Ensure the architecture across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments is secure and compliant with governance and compliance requirements.
  • Implementation and management of on-prem and cloud platform solutions that are resilient and secure in line with business service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless design of technical solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to private health insurance.
  • Ensure RT Health complies with all relevant APRA prudential standards including CPS234 and CPS230.
  • Maintain current knowledge of federal & state privacy & security laws & regulations, plus industry best practices (e.g., Cyber Security, ISO, APRA, OAIC, and GDPR).
  • Motivate and lead a team of system administrators and support analysts responsible for platform support and maintenance.
  • Conduct regular vendor assessments to assess the security and performance as well as address any issues.
  • Assess risks associated with platform changes, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Implement robust change management processes to minimise disruptions
